ACCOYA wood

Accoya is made from fast-growing, sustainably sourced radiata pine and is modified through a proprietary acetylation process. The result? A high-performance, sustainable lumber product with unmatched dimensional stability used for siding, decking, soffits, windows, and doors, and other exterior applications. Accoya withstands moisture, insects, rot, and harsh weather without cupping or warping.

Choose from Natural or Accoya Color Grey for a clean, modern aesthetic—both options offering a low-maintenance, sustainable solution.

Standard to custom profiles are available and compatible with the GRAD System and our Cascade Collection.

Thermally Modified Wood

We partner with Arbor Wood for thermally modified wood products. Using domestically sourced, responsibly harvested timber, the method relies solely on heat and steam to enhance stability and durability, extending the service life of the wood products. Thermally modified wood can be used in residential and commercial construction for a wide range of interior and exterior applications.

Choose from Ash, Poplar, or Southern Yellow Pine, depending on the application. Fire-retardant options are available for Ash (siding only) and Southern Yellow Pine (decking only).

ThermoWood®

Natural, sustainable, ThermoWood is a proprietary thermal modification process that takes sustainably sourced timber and produces incredibly durable finished wood products using natural methods of heat and steam. ThermoWood is a registered trademark of the International ThermoWood Association (ITWA), of which Issaquah Lumber is also a member.

Unlike other modified woods that can vary in quality, ThermoWood is produced through a tightly controlled process certified by the ITWA. The premium thermally modified wood product exceeds industry standards, delivering consistency, stability, and long-term performance.

Issaquah Lumber offers ThermoWood Nordic Pine, Radiata Pine, and Red Oak.

Traditional Wood

We will always offer traditional wood species — it’s what we built our company on and you can count on a carefully curated selection of traditional wood species known for their timeless aesthetics, ease of working with, and enduring warmth. Select from Western Red Cedar, CVG Hemlock, and CVG Douglas Fir, all offering consistent grain, outstanding performance, and versatility.

All of our traditional wood options were chosen to work seamlessly with the GRAD System. And they are easy to finish with stains, oils, or transparent coatings.
